Airbrush 101: An Introduction to Airbrushing for the Stage

The “airbrush” has become a standard tool in the world of theatre and live performance – when properly employed, it can be a critical “game changer” that saves you time and money. This workshop will introduce you to and walk you through the use of an airbrush gun and air compressor in a variety of theatrical applications. This is an introduction to this tool: it will cover the set-up, cleaning and maintenance of the both the gun and the compressor – it will address the pros and cons in different kinds and types of guns and compressors – finally: it will introduce you to the endless varieties of theatrical application the airbrush has in the world of live performance: from make-up to costuming to the painting of props and set pieces.
