About the Summer Intensive: Techland Houston's Annual Tech Theatre Boot Camp
A 60 hour professional development intensive offering everything from Lighting, Sound, and Video, to Set Painting, Costume and Prop Making, Makeup, Wig Setting and Styling and much more. There will also Special Guest presentations, manufacturer demos, and discount programs.
These five days are designed specifically for Theatre Educators at the High School and Middle school Level. Each class covers the fundamentals and disciplines needed to teach technical theatre in all areas. The intensive will go beyond the T.E.K.S Andy standard stage craft basics and provide hands-on retainable techniques and applications that can be immediately executed in any size program or venue.
Two simultaneous venues offering 30 hours per room. This gives educators, having advanced skills in certain disciplines, the option to round out their knowledge base and confidently teach the full curriculum.
